David Hammond is committed to providing the benefits of therapeutic massage as a means of renewing one’s sense of health and well-being.

In addition to his training at the Muscular Therapy Institute (formerly in Cambridge, MA), David’s practice is enriched by his years of experience in theater, dance, mime and teaching. With a firsthand knowledge of the healing and stress reducing value of massage, David works closely with each of his clients to meet their individual needs.

With such versatile techniques as Swedish massage, deep tissue, myofascial release, sports massage, and a keen sense of appropriate levels of pressure, David’s approach provides a reduction of pain and tension, as well as a chance to breathe again, to re-energize and relax. 

Prior to moving to Vermont, David worked full time as a massage therapist in the Boston area. His background includes work at The Harvard University Wellness Center, Cambridge Hospital, the Spa at The Mount Auburn Club, and Tuttle Muscular Therapy in Watertown, MA.

He is a member of the American Massage Therapy Association and is certified thru the National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB).
