Howie Cantor has been writing songs for over 40 years. His folk music tells stories which celebrate the joys in the moments of everyday life.



Also included in the set list might be a tale of Jesus Christ being sent to Guantanamo Bay as an illegal immigrant, or a lizard from Puerto Rico executing a daring attack on a president with his comrade the dove. Howie has performed at many venues in Vermont, as well as New York City, Boston, Puerto Rico, Philadelphia, and The Bonnaroo Music Festival. Howie also plays bass guitar in The Can Am Jazz Band, Monte Verde Brass Band, and The Bread and Puppet Circus Band.

Cary Morin Workshop

Learn the guitar and song writing from one of the best acoustic pickers in roots music.



Learn to Play in Open D Tuning - Cary will cover the basics of playing in Open D tuning, focusing on basic chord structures. He will also cover basic guitar set up, string tension, tunings, and cover basic classic blues and original tunes too. He will share his fingerstyle dynamics, creating bass lines with the thumb while playing fingerstyle melodies.

Songwriting with Cary Morin - Cary will share with you how he goes about developing a song from lyrics to music. Time permitting, the group will work together to begin to write a group song. Workshop limited to 20 students, basic desire and guitar is all that is needed. Tickets are $35.

Ninth Annual Fly Fishing Summer Camp for Teens

Time: 8:00 am

Vermont Trout Unlimited announces their ninth year of their fly fishing camp for teens ages 13 to 16.  Teens interest in either learning the art of fly fishing or improving their basic skill level along side of Vermont's most accomplished fly anglers, are invited to apply.



Participants in the five day/four night comprehensive program will learn and practice casting, basic fly tying, knot craft, insect identication and imitation (entomology), fish identification and behavior (ichthyology) safe wading techiques, angling ethics and cold water conservation.  All application materials must be received by April 15.  Cost:  $450.

Viking Biking Summer Camps

A week-long overnight mountain biking camp.  All levels, beginner through expert are welcome. Campers will stay on campus for the week. NEMBAfest 2019

Once again, the New England Mountain Bike Association and Kingdom Trails bring you NEMBAFest- and it’s all powered by Pedro’s!!!

NEMBAfest is the biggest Mountain Bike Festival on the East Coast! With over 90 vendors from across the bike industry, over 4000 attendees, over 100 miles of trails for all ability levels- the vibe and the setting is amazing. The Festival is very family friendly. We love kids and encourage you to bring them to experience this magical event.



Adult Registration with camping will cost $130, without camping will be $110. On site adult registration for the weekend with camping will be $145, and without camping will be $115.

Patrick Ross's Camping and Music Festival

Rock Farmer Records is proud to present Patrick Ross’s 3 -Day Camping & Music Festival 2019.  A weekend long experience to raise money for music scholarships. The view of the White Mountains along the Connecticut River make this the music festival for the whole family including performances by Lula Wiles, Rusty Dewees, Chad Hollister, Bow Thayer, Patrick Ross, Hunter Paye, Doug Perkins, Eliza Goodell and more. Wrembel learned his craft among the Gypsies at campsites in the French countryside and has already had a remarkable career: this prolific, virtuoso guitarist from France has been releasing a steady stream of music since 2006 and has truly made his mark as one of the most original guitarists in contemporary music.
