The Light Between Us Tour

Howie Cantor has been writing songs for over 40 years. His folk music tells stories which celebrate the joys in the moments of everyday life. Also included in the set list might be a tale of Jesus Christ being sent to Guantanamo Bay as an illegal immigrant, or a lizard from Puerto Rico executing a daring attack on a president with his comrade the dove. Howie has performed at many venues in Vermont, as well as New York City, Boston, Puerto Rico, Philadelphia, and The Bonnaroo Music Festival. Howie also plays bass guitar in The Can Am Jazz Band, Monte Verde Brass Band, and The Bread and Puppet Circus Band. No cover, but please tip your performers and servers.

NEK Legislative Breakfast Series

Winter Day Camp

Don’t let your kiddos (aged 6 -14) get bored during Winter Break! Join us at NorthWoods for outdoor exploration by snowshoe and ski, indoor arts, crafts, cooking and learning. We will adventure in the winter woods while learning and improving ecological, historical and outdoor skills, indoor camp-craft, and games. Gear and homemade lunch included. Camperships available.



$225 for the week or $50/day, lunch and outdoor equipment provided. No extra charge for early drop-off and late pick-up at 8:30/4:30.

Training -> Leadership Workshop: Transforming Your Team

Our leadership series is designed to meet the needs of experienced supervisors seeking to hone existing skills as well as to give new managers strategies and techniques to successfully transition from staff roles to leadership roles.
