Anyone interested in dowsing may register to join the American Society of Dowsers. You do not need to be able to dowse to be a member as beginners are always very welcome. Dowsers are friendly people who are delighted to share their knowledge. The American Society of Dowsers has over 3,000 members Internationally. The Dowsers' national office is located in Danville and sponsors an annual convention in Vermont.

| Brigid's Farm is a small, diversified sheep and goat farm, raising and working with our own wool and mohair. We raise Border Leicester cross sheep and natural-colored angora (mohair) goats. We produce our own fibers and yarns. In addition, the studio at the farm sells knitting supplies, a unique collection of natural and ethnic buttons and natural dyes. Brigid's Farm offers classes and consultations are also available. |

| A National Historic Landmark, built in 1871, the St. Johnsbury Athenaeum has served as a center of culture and learning for 135 years. This public library and historic art gallery is home to a permanent collection of more than 100 19th-century paintings, including Albert Bierstadt’s majestic "Domes of the Yosemite" and works by Cropsey, Gifford, Moran and other Hudson River School artists. Open Monday-Saturday. Admission to art gallery is $5 for non-residents. Admission for children under 18, library members and St. Johnsbury residents is free.
