| Quimby Country is surrounded by pristine lakes, miles of untouched forests and has been described as an "ecological treasure." Set on 1,000 acres, our twenty cottages overlook Forest Lake. Our Beach House and swimming areas are on Big Averill Lake. Quimby's is a family-oriented resort with the accent on service, comfort, and enjoyment of our natural surroundings. Our lodge has a lounge with fieldstone fireplace, our gift shop and well-appointed dining room. We are open May through October. Reasonable rates. Group rates available spring and fall. Pets accepted. Bring your binoculars because you may very well see a moose or loon. |

| Recently-renovated, four-season, two-bedroom cottage is ideally situated for sunrises and views of this beautiful 215-acre lake. The living room and dining area provide wonderful lake and mountain views. The main bedroom has lake views and each bedroom has a full-size bed; the living room has a new leather couch and chair and a futon for the fifth and sixth guests. Four-season heat with a gas-fired stove in living area. |
