KINGDOM ANIMAL SHELTER HELD SUCCESSFUL
OPEN HOUSE AT NEW ST. JOHNSBURY CENTER LOCATION
The Kingdom Animal Shelter held a very successful open house in conjunction with the NEK Chamber on Saturday, Dec. 5, but the organization needs you to visit the center year-round to ensure cats and kittens are adopted from the shelter.
The facilities at the shelter are extremely clean and a number of cats and kittens went out the door on Saturday, but the challenge for the center is that there are always animals in need of adoption at the center. A center representative noted that a recent litter of kittens arrived at the center, rescued from an individual who was going to drown them because he couldn’t take care of them. The shelter also offers a number of friendly and affectionate older cats, perfect for those unable to handle the demands of a frisky kitten.
