BURKE MOUNTAIN - WINTER

Alpine:

Burke Mountain Resort, located in Vermont's Northeast Kingdom, clings to tradition and seeks out authentic skiing and riding experiences, which is why you won't find us widening the trails on our 270 acres any time soon. Nor will we cut into our 100 or more acres of beautiful glades just to raise our trail number. There's enough terrain to challenge all levels, believe us.

This is Vermont, and we offer one of the best skiing experiences in the Northeast, a mountain where future Olympians train. We also offer an amazing Mountain Hotel expereince.  The simple truth is that we love this place and hope you will come love Burke yourself. If you want to improve your skiing skills, we can help you there as well. You'll learn to appreciate the natural contours of the mountain and learn to see your line, not the trees it weaves through.

Nordic:

Explore all the beauty of the Northeast Kingdom at a slightly slower pace. Step into snowshoes or cross-country skis and trek through a stitched-together network of old logging lanes, forgotten country roads and rolling Vermont farmland.

BURKE MOUNTAIN - SUMMER

Sure, a lot of our neighboring mountains have summer activities - it's just that a lot of them aren't very active. Don't get us wrong, mountain coasters and slippery slides can be fun, but that's not why National Geographic selected the area as a geotourism destination. We prefer to take advantage of the natural beauty that surrounds us. As the skis and boards go away, the bike, kayaks and PFDs come out.

After the annual swap, we start changing a different kind of gears on the “best mountain biking trail network in North America” (according to Bike Magazine, who know about this sort of thing). Our neighbor and partner, the Kingdom Trails Association, meticulously manages and maintains 110 miles of trails, including the Burke Mountain Bike Park, the only lift-served biking on the network.  Come for a day, come with some friends.  Our sales team at Burke will get you set up with group rates (10 people or more) and an awesome day on the trails.
