Hardwick Chiropractic

East Hardwick, VT

People have many reasons for seeking care here, and we welcome you, whatever your path is. Our commitment is to help you in your journey towards vibrant health to become more self-aware, more flexible, and regain the clarity, wholeness and ease that are naturally yours.

The work we do is called Bio-Geometric Integration (BGI). It allows us to gently and thoroughly address the trauma, stored events, or acute and chronic issues that you may be experiencing.

We use a variety of chiropractic and osteopathic techniques, selecting the most appropriate to access the potential energy stored in your body. As this potential is released, your body uses it to further its own healing, to become more flexible, more adaptable and more alive. Everyone, regardless of specific symptoms or ailments, can benefit from a system that is more flexible and free.

ABOUT OUR PRACTICE
Dr. Grace Johnstone graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic and founded Hardwick Chiropractic in 1993. She was drawn to a wide array of chiropractic techniques and early on became enthralled with BioGeometric Integration (BGI).

Dr. Johnstone has enjoyed teaching chiropractors and chiropractic students for BGI Seminars for many years and has continued her exploration to include osteopathic techniques, visceral and neural manipulation.

A severe case of Lyme disease and the resultant Lyme meningitis and radiculoneuritis she experienced deepened her understanding of Lyme and introduced her to hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT), which allowed her to recover and return to practice and the work she loves.

Certified in Hyperbaric and Undersea Medicine in 2016, she also heads up Community Hyperbaric and Hyperbaric Vermont, a nonprofit that provides HBOT and provider training in HBOT for those who wish to offer it to their patients.

Dr. Sara Crandall graduated from Life University in Marietta, Ga. She has explored holistic approaches to health for more than a decade, which led to her decision to become a chiropractor.

She incorporates the concepts of Bio-Geometric Integration and osteopathic techniques to allow for whole-body healing and connection through the skeletal structures and soft tissues, including the organs and neural pathways.

She is also a provider for hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) at Community Hyperbaric. Sara is constantly inspired by the people (and animals) she has the privilege to adjust and feels blessed to be part of their healing journey.

Dr. Rick Eschholz, DC graduated from Sherman College of Straight Chiropractic in 2003. He became interested in becoming a chiropractor after working the front desk in a chiropractic office and experiencing getting adjusted. He has completed the BGI Academy of Mastery, a chiropractic seminar series lead by Dr. Sue Brown, the developer of BGI who continually pushed the evolution of chiropractic.

Dr. Eschholz also has extensive training in osteopathic approaches to working with the central and peripheral nervous system, as well as the organ systems. He works with people of all ages, expectant moms and newborns, and also adjusts animals. Rick considers himself lucky to work with the innate wisdom of the body to help people experience their fullest expression of health.

TESTIMONIALS

I have been a patient at Hardwick Chiropractic for 20 years. I try to have regular visits as often as I can because my general health is so much better when I do. Whenever I have had need over the years for help with any sudden pain/back injuries I go in right away and find relief quickly. I've been to traditional chiropractors and prefer bio geometric integration (the type of practice at Hardwick Chiropractic). Not only are the chiropractors here pleasant and caring, they are highly skilled. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

Everything about Hardwick Chiropractic is great. The doctor I see is caring and calming and the staff is understanding and showed great patience with my complicated work schedule when making appointments. I was especially impressed by the thoroughness of the initial workup. There was no feeling of being rushed. The technique used is very new to me but I feel utterly relaxed by the time I leave and I know that it's working to correct some problems I've had for many, many years. Since I started going there I've discovered a couple of friends who also go and they swear by the relief they've gotten.
