White Birch Lodge is a family business with four cottages located on lovely Echo Lake in Vermont's Northeast Kingdom. This area has been highlighted in Yankee magazine and the National Geographic Geotourism project.

People seeking an opportunity to enjoy a peaceful environment have enjoyed their time in our farming community. A dirt road surrounds Echo Lake and several farms dot the hillsides around the lake. A number of families have held reunions at White Birch Lodge, allowing families to have their own cottage while enjoying meals, games, campfires and water activities together.

FEATURES

All of the cottages have a fully supplied kitchen: dishes, utensils, toaster, coffee maker, microwave, etc. All also have a bathroom with shower and are heated with either a wood-burning stove or a gas heater. Wood is provided. Weber grills are available for use.

White Birch Lodge does allow pets, but please read our Pet Policy carefully before booking. If you have any further questions regarding your pet's stay, please contact us.

Free high-speed internet is available in all of the cottages.

ACTIVITIES

Echo Lake is a quiet lake with few motorized boats. We provide a rowboat, paddleboat and two kayaks at no additional charge. Guests are expected to share.

White Birch Lodge has been a favorite fishing destination for decades. Spring and fall bring anglers and golfers, each finding ample opportunities in the area to enjoy their sports at reasonable prices and no crowds.

Fall foliage attracts many visitors in September and early October. The reflection of mountain colors on the surface of the lake is breathtaking.
