Multi-instrumentalist and singer Ken Anderson and writer Rebecca Hall make up Hungrytown, a folk duo with beautiful arrangements, remarkable vocal harmonies, and a literary bent. Hungrytown create pure acoustic American folk songs with predominantly Irish and Scottish influences. Singer Rebecca Hall has composed most of the songs, weaving modern themes into traditional song structures. Based in Townsend, Hungrytown have spent the last twenty years touring across the United States and the British Isles.Their songs and music have appeared in numerous television programs, including "Portlandia," Comedy Central's "The Daily Show" and Netflix's comedy "Lady Dynamite.â"
