The nickname “Northeast Kingdom” was a term coined by beloved U.S. Senator & Governor George Aiken many years ago, in honor of the pastoral and natural beauty of the region.
The Northeast Kingdom comprises the counties of Caledonia, Essex and Orleans in Vermont's northeast corner.

The Northeast Kingdom Chamber is the tri-county's largest and only fully staffed chamber, handling travel promotion, community/economic development, legislative/governmental relations, business networking and promotion of regional projects.
The chamber, based out of St. Johnsbury with about 300 members, is conveniently located at the Green Mountain Mall, across from JCPenney.

CLASS 2 (March 26): Yeast and fermentation
Overview: This class will cover the selection of yeast for particular beer styles. Yeast derived flavors, fermentation profiles, and yeast handling in breweries will be highlighted. Beers produced with a variety of yeasts will be served.
